The company was founded by Ryan G. McCourry and is based right here in Greenville, South Carolina. Ryan met his wife, Caroline, at the University of South Carolina, where they both developed a deep appreciation for the Upstate and its strong sense of community. After Ryan’s service in the United States Air Force, the decision to move to Greenville was a shared one—rooted in their desire to build a life together in a place they truly value and to make a meaningful impact in the local community.
As a veteran-owned business, Greenville Assisted Living Advisors is built on a foundation of service, leadership, and integrity. Ryan brings a service-first mindset shaped by his time in the Air Force, along with a strong commitment to doing what is right for every family he works with. Caroline, a registered nurse, brings valuable perspective and real-world experience in patient care, offering deeper insight into the medical, emotional, and day-to-day realities that families face when navigating senior care decisions.
